Who we are

1210 is made by Islam Shatat, an independent developer in Saudi Arabia who publishes as SHATATION. "We" in these terms means Islam Shatat.

Using 1210

You may use 1210 for your own personal, non-commercial play. If you downloaded it from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply.

We keep improving 1210, so games, features and content may change, be added or be removed.

Your name and picture

The name and picture you choose for your profile can travel in the challenge links you send. Keep them respectful, and do not use a name that pretends to be someone else or that is offensive or unlawful.

Play fair

Do not cheat, tamper with the app, or try to break, copy or misuse it or the services it uses.

Games and tests are not advice

1210 is for fun and for getting to know yourself. It measures how you perform on its own games; it does not measure intelligence and does not predict how you will do at school, at work or anywhere else. The questionnaires in Tests are not medical, psychological or professional assessments and are not a diagnosis. If you have a concern about your health, please talk to a professional.

Ours and others'

The games, levels, drawings, sounds, texts and the 1210 and SHATATION names belong to us. Some parts come from others and are used under their licences: the questionnaires build on the International Personality Item Pool (public domain) and the O*NET Interest Profiler (CC BY 4.0), and the title font is Lilita One (SIL Open Font License). The Acknowledgements screen in the app lists them in full.

Your feedback

If you send us an idea or a suggestion, we may use it to improve 1210 without owing you anything for it. Thank you for it all the same.

No guarantees

We work to keep 1210 running well, but it is provided as it is, and we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that saved progress can never be lost.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from your use of 1210. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

Stopping

You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may stop offering 1210, or stop someone who breaks these terms from using it.

Changes and law

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top; playing after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without taking away the protections the law of your own country gives you.
